Did you enjoy the concerts and sports events in West Ham Park last July, to celebrate 150 years since the park opened to the public? Or did you miss it?
Either way, you have another, or your first, chance for a fun day out!
This year the event will happen on Sunday July 13th, and is being run by the Friends of West Ham Park, along with the wonderful park staff, and support from the City of London Corporation.
There will be music on the bandstand from 2pm – after an opening procession from Main Gate on Upton Lane, which will be led by the Pearly King and Queen of Forest Gate and the Samba for Fun drummers! All your local favourite bands will perform until 6pm.
There will also be opportunities to have a go at tennis and cricket with expert help and guidance. There will be craft and information stalls, and plenty of ice cream!
