Next event:
Friday 20th September
We have tiny pipistrelle bats in the park – we don’t know whether they actually live in the park but they do feed there, and just after sunset is the best time to see them. So why not come along on one of our popular free Bat Walks and try and see them! Bats are wild creatures so of course we can’t guarantee they will appear.
Everyone welcome – and yes we allow children on our Bat Walks!
Meet by the Parks & Gardens Division Office (opposite the Playground) just before the park closes
PLEASE NOTE
Please arrive promptly to ensure entry as the Park closes at 8.30pm (August) and 7.30pm (September), gates start closing 15minutes before the park closes – Main Gate on Upton Lane will be the final gate to close.
After gates close there will not be an opportunity to exit the Park until the walk finishes.
The exit will be onto Portway only.
